So
if being Malaysian is such a big deal, why isn't this website
in Bahasa Malaysia or why isn't there at least a BM version?
The reality is that English is the universal business (and internet)
language - no matter what our friends in France might prefer
- and thus, ThreeSixtyOne
is just in keeping with that. This has become more relevant
as Malaysia debates the reintroduction of English as the possible
medium of teaching in schools. For those clients who express
the preference for deliverables in Bahasa Malaysia, a copy of
the project report in Malay is always available at no additional
cost.
Isn't
ThreeSixtyOne's approach
just a way to charge clients more?
In trying to resolve a client's business challenge, our intention
is to ensure that no stones are left unturned. Within reason.
From our collective past experience as senior managers "on
the client side", we have all come to know that business
problems rarely have a single cause. Too often, prior to meeting
us, our clients will have concluded that the reason they have
a problem is because of X. And this is how they will brief us.
Their expectation is for us to prove their hypothesis. After
several weeks (or months) of work, the worse situation we could
be in is to say to our client, "No, your suspicions weren't
right. X is not the reason for your failing business."
When we are then asked what is the problem, we don't have an
answer.
